Prime Care Home is committed to protecting the safety and well-being of all residents, staff, and visitors by being fully prepared to handle emergencies, fires, and natural disasters in a calm, organized, and professional manner.

Emergency Situations

  • All staff are trained to respond quickly and appropriately to any emergency.

  • Immediate first aid is given when needed.

  • On-call doctors or nurses are contacted without delay.

  • Ambulance services are arranged for hospital transfer if required.

  • Families are informed as soon as possible.

  • All incidents are documented in the Emergency and Incident Log.

Fire Safety

  • The facility is equipped with fire alarms, fire extinguishers, and clearly marked emergency exits.

  • Regular fire drills are conducted to ensure readiness.

  • Residents and staff evacuate to the designated assembly point in the garden.

  • A roll-call attendance check is conducted to ensure everyone is safe.

  • Staff are trained in evacuation procedures and fire extinguisher use.

Disaster Preparedness

  • Emergency evacuation plans are in place.

  • Backup lighting and emergency supplies are prepared.

  • Safe gathering areas are identified.

  • Staff are trained in disaster response and resident evacuation support.

  • Immediate reporting of hazards or risks.

  • Continuous staff training on safety and emergency procedures.
